The county auditor
acts as secretary to the Board of Supervisors.
Custodian of the courthouse and grounds, with approval of
the Board of Supervisors.
Enters all real estate deeds in the official county plats
and transfer books.
Computes county
budget and sets levies from budgets certified by cities,
school districts and townships, with the approval of the
Board of Supervisors and the State Department of
Management.
Prepares lists of
credits and applies them on the tax lists.
Computes all tax
lists and tax receipts for certification to the treasurer
for collection.
Keep drainage
records on all drainage districts and computes drainage
assessments for certification to the treasurer.
Issue warrants in
payment of all claims allowed by the Board of Supervisors.
In charge of
county payrolls, medical insurance and withholding reports.
Supervises all
voter registration of the county.
Prepares all
ballots for all primary, general, special, school and city
elections held in O’Brien County.
