Zubrod Family Constructing New Sutherland Auto Wash


Primghar, Iowa, September 9, 2019 –The Zubrod family—Joyce, Kevin and their son, Jon—are finishing construction on a double bay auto wash. This new business, aptly named Wash Me, Inc., will be located at the western edge of Sutherland on Highway 10. The facility will include one automatic wash bay and one hand wash bay that will be able to accommodate larger vehicles and trucks. O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation is pleased to support this new business through an O’Brien County IRP Revolving Loan Fund Loan. The Zubrods are excited to bring auto wash services back to the Sutherland area.

O’Brien County Economic Development, in conjunction with the O’Brien County Revolving Loan Fund Committee, has approved financing for this new business. The Revolving Loan Fund is used to attract, retain or expand business or industry.  Revolving loan funds may be used for the following:  Land purchases, Building purchases, Building Construction, Machinery purchases, Equipment purchases and any other uses deemed appropriate by the RLF Committee.

The greater Sutherland area will gain a much needed service this month, when Wash Me, Inc. is scheduled to be completed.”
